For our first date together we went to the Botanical Gardens (unfortunately we dont have any photos of us together at the gardens, only individual ones 😅). Id loved to say we admired the flowers for hours but honestly we walked very quickly through everything. Since we had finished so fast we decided to go bowling. Im proud to say I won the first round and then Duncan won the other two rounds 😞.

Duncan has been going to church with me and my family ever since we started dating! We have both been trying to become more involved by attending Wednesday night service, COTR Young Adults, and joining small groups.

On May 21, 2023 Duncan proposed to me at Union Station at the top of the Ferris wheel. There was a couple in the gondola behind us who happened to see Duncan get down on one knee. The lady was kind enough to take a picture and send it to us. Although it’s kind of hard to see because of the glare.

After we got engaged we decided to take a trip to Georgia so I could officially meet his family and friends before we tie the knot. I had a great time meeting everyone and also enjoyed getting to do some axe throwing for the first time.
