Renee has been my sister for ages, but officially joined the Bush family when she married in 12 years ago. A decision we are forever grateful she made, because she is the perfect addition to my family. In the words of Freya, Renee is super nice, super kind, thoughtful and fun. You know that's right. (Please note the Psych reference because we share a love of that show along with Parks and Rec). But she is so much more than that. She is the hardest working, most caring, and has the most integrity of any person I know. Renee is a great mom, great auntie, and loyal friend. Her support and encouragement in my life has helped me become the best version of myself. I'm so lucky to have her as my sister!
Kaylee Hanson - Bridesmaid
Kaylee and I became fast friends when we met in college at NDSU over 20 years ago. She was going for veterinary and I was going for radiology. Life didn't exactly go how we planned it way back then(seriously, when does it ever), but God did bring us to something similar in a round about better way. Kaylee now has the cutest back yard suburban farm and I still ended up working in medical imagining. No friend has gone through all of life's up and downs with me like Kaylee. We have gone through multiple moves, military life and deployments, pregnancy and births, surprises, heartaches, and victories, all while living off our love of coffee, travel, and our deep faith in Jesus. My life is so much richer going through it with a bestie like my Eelyak!
Megan Holle - Bridesmaid
Megan and I go way, way back. Back to when we were two cool (ahem, awkward) teenagers bumbling our way through those growing up years together. Our families are close friends, the kind that are a second family, so she is really more like a sister. My core memories are spending countless hours hanging out at each others houses, going to her family cabin, meeting up with our friends at youth group, and our trip to Mexico. Later she joined Kaylee and I at NDSU where our fun adventures continued. I have always admired Megan because she goes full force at everything in life. Where I would be timid to go out of my comfort zone, she couldn't wait to go try it, excited at the thought of meeting a new friend, learning something new, or afraid to miss out on something amazing. She laughs hard, loves hard, goes after Jesus hard, and won't shy away from the hard stuff in life. I aspire to be more like my friend Megan!
Bethany Beesley - Bridesmaid
Beth and I met 3 years ago when she joined my hospital as a fellow echo tech. We bonded quickly over life situations, motherhood, and working in the echo field. Co-workers like that are invaluable and why I fondly refer to her as my work wife. Nobody has your back like some who knows some of the gross/insane things you do for a paycheck . It also makes for the best stories. It was Beth (and Charlie's) meddling matchmaking that was responsible for Dustin and I meeting. We fought it for months but they were persistent. We are grateful they saw something in each of us that they thought would be a good match. Beth is such a fun loving, caring, sensitive, giving friend, and I love having her in my life!
Kayleigh Kleinschmidt - Bridesmaid
Kaylee is that special kind of loyal friend. The one that you would ask to help move a body, and she would reply I've got a plan, let's talk over margaritas. Don't read this like her morals are questionable, she is completely up standing and her heart is in the right place. What I really mean by this is that she is super smart and I can always count on her. She has been by my side through thick and thin, always there to support me and the kids. It has meant the world to me that she takes me for me. She's super fun to laugh with, a great listener, and thoughtful. Plus, she's a great mom and auntie. I'm so lucky she calls me her sister!
Erin Terres - Bridesmaid
I've known Erin for over 20 years now. We went to high school together, but it was being roommates in our college years that really solidified our friendship. For those few years, we were inseparable. Then life took us in different directions but that didn't stop us from being besties. In fact, we have an amazing ability of showing up places wearing the same outfit completely unplanned. We would do weekly Wednesday night dinners together and Sunday football games when I lived close. She came to the rescue and helped me through the birth of Freya. And we are godmothers to each other's daughters. She has the most giving heart and gives the best hugs. I believe the only think missing is living next door to each other with a connecting tunnel like we planned.
Groomsmen
Noah Kelly - Best Man
One of the best guys that I have had the pleasure of knowing for more than 20 years. He has been my best friend since the 4th grade and I have experienced nothing but highs growing up with him. It's the kind of friendship where you can just show up at each other's house, where my parents are his parents and his are mine.
Obviously, growing up and graduating means moving on and going separate ways for a lot of people, and while that happened with us there was never a time where we weren't best friends. We could spend years apart living our lives but we always come back like it was only yesterday that we had seen each other.
This guy is many things, he's hardworking, compassionate, selfless, funny, easy going, a great husband and I am honored that he will be up there with me as my best man when I get married to the love of my life.
Love you bro!
Eddie Cramer - Groomsman/Officiant
Eddie has been my friend and gaming buddy for as long as I can remember. Growing up and graduating High School together and staying in contact after. We spent some time in college together but by that I mean, we spent a lot of time not going to class and playing games instead. I can say there hasn't been a time that I haven't had fun being around him.
As you can see I have him listed as Groomsman/Officiant for the wedding, and with good reason. Almost 10 years ago I was asked to officiate his wedding with his wonderful wife Victoria. So I got online, got myself officiated and did just that. During that time we made a pact, that when I finally get married HE will be up there to return the favor and I am sure he will make our day just as special as I made theirs.
I am proud to call Eddie my friend for life.
Travis Goosen - Groomsman
Travis is probably the coolest guy I know, as you can see from this picture. From yearly float trips, ax throwing at his house, and the insane amount of frisbee throwing that we have done over the years. He is a great friend to have when you need some advice on something, to talk about your life updates, or just to goof around and help build stuff in his shop. Of course, there are times that we can't get together to hang out but that doesn't stop the almost weekly phones calls we have to talk about what we have going on in our lives.
He is a great husband, an awesome dad, someone easy to talk to, and a friggin' dancing machine. Let's party bro!
Nathaniel Veale - Groomsman
Nathaniel is one of the most lovable and positive people you will ever meet. He is one of the best guys to have around, the best ADC you can have on your League team, and his baking skills are on par! I am lucky to be able to call this guy my friend and I am honored that he would want to be part of mine and Brandice's day.
Charlie Beesley - Groomsman
I've known Charlie and his wife Beth since High School and its been great watching their relationship flourish since then. Plus it helps that both of them are the ones who introduced Brandice and I, so really I should say that HE is the sole reason that we are able to have our day. I will always appreciate what he has done for us. He assisted me during the problems that I had in my life. He (and Beth) were able to notice and take time to help me get myself back on the right track and for that I will always be grateful. He is a great friend and I am looking forward to have him with me during our wedding.
Austin Hutchison - Groomsman
I've had the pleasure of knowing this guy for a handful of years now. We worked at Wal-Mart together where we started our friendship, graduated college together, and moved on to working at the same company together where we worked IT at the same school for a while. He is one of the most easy going guys I know and a great friend.
Mika Thornburg - Groomsman
Mika and I met in college and I've been grateful to call this guy a friend. He is one of the smartest guys I know. We have had a lot of great times hanging out together during college and during chiefs games. I have known this guy for about 8 years and there hasn't been a single moment where he won't try to convince me that I am better than I think I am. One of the most constant uplifters that I know and an even better friend. I am beyond excited that he is going to be up there with me during our day! Love you bro!
