Our Wedding

Dustin and Giselle met in late 2023 at their Church’s Young Adults Bible Study. They found themselves hanging out in the same friend group and attending game nights at a mutual friend’s house. When Dustin’s Grandma became sick and unfortunately passed, Giselle reached out to him and was there for him during that time in his life. They talked for hours and the two instantly started hitting it off. During this time, Dustin was starting to fall for Giselle but he was still clueless that she had feelings for him. Giselle invited Dustin to get frozen yogurt at Menchies, the two went on their first date together and shared their feelings for each other. They talked for hours about their relationship with the Lord and all of the amazing things he was doing in their lives. After the date, Dustin called his best friend Philip and told him there was something truly special about this girl. Fast forward a few months, Dustin finally asked Giselle to be his girlfriend on February 13th after going on a romantic dinner to one of their favorite restaurants Bistro 120 in Oakdale. The two began creating countless memories with one another going on dates, enjoying Bible studies at their Young Adults group, and attending church worshiping the creator that brought them together. On their one year anniversary, Dustin planned a romantic date to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and then later to a dinner with a view of a light house off the beach in Santa Cruz. Giselle, just thinking she was getting treated to a nice date for the couple’s anniversary, was in for a big surprise. The couple made their way to Monterey and enjoyed the day at the aquarium. When it was time for their dinner reservation, they made their way over to Santa Cruz braving the stormy weather. Upon arrival, Dustin took Giselle to go visit the light house so the two could see it up close. Dustin took her hand and walked her down the beach toward the light house. As he turned to her, the rain stopped, the sky opened up and a beam of light shined down through the clouds, he took her hand got down on one knee and proposed. Giselle said yes, and the two embraced each other with joy. Dustin and Giselle are beyond blessed that the Lord created their love story and are so grateful for all of the amazing friends and family that play a huge role in their life. They’re excited to continue their story and share their special day with all of you. Thank you for being apart of this couple’s story.

She’s the bride’s best friend. They met at cheer tryouts the summer before she started a new school, and Giselle was the very first person to talk to her and they've been friends ever since!
