Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place?
Yes, it will be held in the same location. The ceremony will be on the right side of the house straight to the back.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving your children at home so you can celebrate with us.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Yes, the wedding will be in the great outdoors where guests can soak up the sunshine and enjoy the fresh air. Just be sure to leave the stilettos at home, as the grassy field can be a bit of a challenge for those high heels.
Can we take pictures?
We kindly ask that you refrain from snapping shots during the ceremony as we want to keep the focus on the happy couple and not your selfie game. However, we fully support your desire to document your amazing dance moves and hilarious photo booth poses during the reception. So, strike a pose, tag it with #djlafleur and let the good times roll!
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive an hour before at 4:30 PM- 5 PM, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head to the bar for happy hour and games.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Yes parking is free. There is a designated parking lot across from the venue. There will be parking attendants and security.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We do not have any particular hotel blocked because some people might choose to stay closer to family. We did list two hotels near the venue under the tab Hotels Near Venue.
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
You can RSVP online as early as you would like. The last date to RSVP is 06/21/2024.
Where are you registered?
We have decided to skip the registry and would prefer to have donations to our honeymoon fund. Donations can be made online through the honeymoon fund tab or in person.
May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?
Yes please help yourself to any centerpiece, candles, or flowers.
What should I wear?
Black Tie Garden Formal. We prefer a colorful celebration! The bridal party will be in floor length gowns and wedges/ flats. Take a look at the pictures towards the bottom for inspiration.
