Lorie and Dustin's story began in an environment bound by rules—where love was not supposed to flourish. In the corridors of their workplace, amidst deadlines and expectations, an unspoken connection grew between them. But the policies of their jobs demanded professionalism, meaning their budding feelings had to stay hidden.

As fate would have it, neither of them stayed in that place for long. And once the constraints were gone, their hearts found the freedom to explore what had been there all along.

Their journey together truly began on the road—traveling to Charleston to help move their loved ones into a new chapter of life. But in the process, they found themselves stepping into a new chapter of their own. Festivals, concerts, spontaneous adventures across the South—all of it became a backdrop for their love story. Their shared passions for music, dancing, traveling, food, and time with family knit them closer with each passing day.

And then came November 2024—Lorie’s birthday. The room was alive with celebration, laughter, and the warmth of loved ones gathered in her honor. As the evening carried on, she found herself on the dance floor, wrapped in the rhythm of the night. In the midst of the song, Dustin dropped to one knee. But instead of a traditional engagement ring, he held out something delightfully unexpected—a candy ring pop, a playful nod to the sweetness of their love.

The grandness of the ring meant nothing to Lorie, because what mattered was the person standing before her—the man who had become her greatest adventure, her truest companion, and her undeniable love. Without hesitation, she said yes.

And so, on June 7th, 2025, they will stand together at Brittany and Spencer Yate’s stunning estate, overlooking the pond, ready to say "I do." The couple is looking forward to the beginning of a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and countless new adventures.
