Our Love story

It started quietly… the way most real stories do.They met through a friend— Back when Dustin was a college freshman, juggling classes, golf, work, and long days on the family farm. Emily was a high school senior, her days just as full—school, work, college courses, farm life, and everything that comes with standing on the edge of what’s next.They talked. They laughed. But time was scarce, and life had its own plans.Eventually, the conversations faded—not because the connection wasn’t there, but because the timing wasn’t right. They were standing on two different roads, headed in opposite directions.And then… four years later…In a way only God could orchestrate, their paths crossed again—this time through a dating app. Emily had only joined two weeks earlier when fate, timing, and a little divine humor matched them together.There were a few awkward apologies for their younger selves… And then, a first official date.Dustin picked Emily up after work. They grabbed Little Caesars pizza and drove out to Lake North—simple, unplanned, perfect.But the real test came on date number two.After a past relationship left its mark, Emily’s dogs—Charley and Lady Bug—weren’t exactly fans of men. The plan was the lake… then the dog park. Emily didn’t know what to expect.And then—Charley made the decision.When it was time to leave, he climbed into the truck— choosing to ride with Dustin.In that moment, Emily knew. This was a good man.And from there… the rest became history.A year and a half later, after harvest, with the sun sinking low over a quiet cornfield, Dustin got down on one knee. Emily was so shocked she never actually said “yes”… But she did manage an “uh-huh.”And somehow— That was all that mattered.

She and Emily have always been a team! From scraped knees and checking for broken bones every time the horses kicked her, to life lessons and little pushes to go for her dreams, she's always been there for Emily. She is a strong, amazing, loving mother and truly did an amazing job raising the bride (even though we think the bandaid companies were kept in business from the amount she went through patching up Emily!)

Raising Dustin must not have been easy, and no one could have done it better than these two. Always there for him when he needed it, teaching him everything he knows, from turning a wrench to doing the dishes. They've truly supported him through it all! Bill is also happy that, in his words, "He's Emily's problem now!"😂

The Maid of Honor and Best Man!!

Anastasia and the Bride have been best friends since middle school! Through ups and downs, they continue to find a way back to each other's lives. Forever a shoulder to cry on, and always up for nights filled with laughter.

While also technically being the groom's cousin, they've always been like twins. Always getting into trouble together, always going fishing and hunting together, and forever having each other's backs.

The Matron of Honor and Second Best Man!!

Brenda and Emily met through work and quickly became friends. They bonded through interests of racing, the good bad, and the ugly of work and life alike, and their ability to only have Chinese food when NOT with their men! She's always there to give advice, support, or to just be a sounding board for each other.

They met through their mother, as in Derek is Dustin's little brother. Dustin may have the muscles, but Derek definitely got the brains! Throughout childhood, he got picked on by the groom ALOT, but in times of real need, they were always brothers before all else.

Friends from the begining they've been through some crap! From tears of broken hearts to the regular joy of life, they've had each other's backs from day one. Giving advice, support, and all the hugs needed, Kenz is definitely one of the brides ride or die!

From birth, they've been cousins and best friends. From causing mischief at the farm to talking about sports, when Cory and the groom get together, it's bound to be entertaining!

Katelyn is Dustin's amazingly talented sister. Heart of gold, incredibly smart, and the life of the party! Growing up with two brothers was difficult so she had to be tough, so she's ready to kick (anyone who wears white to the wedding's) butt!

Trevor is Katelyn's husband. He and Dustin bonded over.... well anything and everything having to do with gaming, guns, and fishing/hunting.

Hazel is the Bride's goddaughter and the Maid of Honor's daughter! With a smile that lights up the room, she always makes the bride smile and forget all the wedding planning stress with one hug!

Our theme is Rustic Western Romantic. Our groomsmen will be wearing Navy Blue vests, dark-wash jeans, boots, and cowboy hats.Bridesmaids will be in their chosen Burgundy dresses.Not overly dressy.Absolutely NO PURE WHITE/OFF-WHITE Dresses!! (An acceptable example would be a flower design over white fabric)* We have bridesmaids locked and loaded with Kool-Aid water 'guns.....*
