Expect to see other guests wearing semi-formal attire with floral prints, lighter fabrics, or are otherwise summery in nature. Men should wear either suits or dress pants with button down shirts. The wedding will be partially outdoor in August, so please take the weather into account when selecting an outfit.
My invitation says guests are encouraged to wear blue. Do I have to?
Absolutely not! If you already have an idea for what you want to wear, please do not change your plan. Wearing blue is a suggestion for people who are still deciding how they would like to dress; but is definitely not a requirement.
What should I expect from the venue?
There are three main areas hosting different wedding events on the day-of. A short ceremony will be held on the grass lawn followed by the cocktail hour that will also be outdoor. The reception space is covered and will serve as good protection from the sun as we enjoy our dinner. Misters and large fans will be available to help cool you down if the weather requires it.
Can I bring my kids?
Unfortunately, due to the size of the venue, we are currently unable to accommodate any extra guests (including children) at this time. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you have any questions about who we are expecting from your household.
Are there any venue rules I should know about?
Mostly just one: absolutely no outside alcohol. We will be providing an open bar that will serve beer, wine, etc. Please refrain from bringing your own alcohol as this is strictly against the policies of the venue. Breaking this rule could result in an early end to the night for everyone.
