Dylan and I met at a Braves game on August 19, 2017. I went with a friend to this game and while we were in the parking lot, he caught my eye from across the street. After I told a few people that I thought he was cute, word got back to him and he made his way over to me and introduced himself. Throughout the night we would catch ourselves making eye contact, and smiling at each other until he finally came back up and started a conversation for the second time. From that moment on, we never went a day without talking.

We have been together for four years now and within those four years we have moved to another state and back again, been through the ups and the downs, held each other while we cried, lifted each other up when we’ve needed it, and watched each other become successful and conquer our goals.

Dylan set up a photo shoot with a local photographer without me knowing. With me thinking it was a “mentor” shoot, I had no thought in my mind that he was going to propose. When we started getting pictures done, Dylan’s friend came up riding the golf cart and yelled, “Dylan! Did you do that pose we talked about?” with Dylan answering “Nope! Not yet!”. Right then, his buddy took the ring box out of his pocket and tossed it to Dylan. Dylan was so nervous he almost dropped to his knee into cow poop (Lol)! When Dylan asked me to marry him it was the easiest question I have ever been asked… I cried out yes!!

We are so excited to start this new beginning together, and I am forever blessed God chose such a wonderful, selfless man to be my person.
