The nearest airport is <a href="https://bradleyairport.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bradley International Airport</a> in Hartford County, CT. It is a 40-minute drive from there to the Country Club of Farmington. Car Rentals: Hertz, Enterprise, and Budget are available at Bradley airport Uber/Lyft: Both are available in the area. An Uber will cost $45 one way.

Located 30 minutes north of the Farmington Inn and Country Club, the Granby Oak is an iconic piece of Granby history. 477 years old, 80 feet tall, and a 260 inch circumference, the Granby Oak is a must see on your tour of Granby.

Located 30 minutes north of the Farmington Inn and Country Club on Route 219 - Enders Falls is a beautiful and idyllic State Forest that contains a set of 5 waterfalls. The location has become more accessible with the addition of stairs and guardrails.

Enders Falls

Nuckols' Preserve, located 30 minutes north of the Farmington Inn and Country Club is a peaceful and serene piece of land preserved by the Granby Land Trust. It is a perfect place to explore and skip rocks down its smooth alleys. It is about a 3 minute walk from the trailhead to the water.

Nuckols Preserve aka "The Creek"

This trail will take you to Granby's highpoint (a whopping 580 feet) atop the Western Barndoor Hill Preserve. It overlooks a horse stable where you can frequently see people ride. This hike is ~.9 miles with approximately 200 feet of elevation gain.
