We actually both grew up in Jacksonville and went to Jacksonville High School, but funny enough — we didn’t really know each other back then. We had just kind of heard of each other.

Fast forward 10 years: Abby was living in Oregon when she saw Dylan post a story to his Instagram from a concert. She replied with a simple “jealous!” — which landed right in his DMs. Dylan was a little surprised (and impressed) that Abby even knew the band, and that sparked the first real conversation between us.

At the time, Dylan had recently moved back to our hometown area from Philly, and Abby was planning to move back in just a couple of months. We both liked the idea of having a new friend to talk music with — and maybe even hang out once we were in the same place.

From there, we started talking every day. And when Abby finally moved back, we met up, hung out, and started to really get to know each other.

The rest, as they say, is history!
