It was love at first hike! Our first date was a day hike at little Mt. Si. and despite the heat wave we were having that Summer, the date went great! By the time we reached the summit, we felt like we had known one another forever. This lead to a second date the very next day. We took a trip to Portland, Oregon as Roberto had never had Voodoo donuts before (great excuse.) And ever since that back to back date, we have been inseparable! Every adventure that we share, we truly fall more in love.
One of the first questions Dylan ever asked Roberto was “Do you have a dog?” When Roberto introduced Dylan to Tetra, he fell in love a second time. It was at that point their family was started. Since then we have added our little prince Linkie!
Roberto knew he wanted to marry Dylan around February of the next year and had the most suave proposal idea ever. On Easter weekend he lead Dylan all over Mukilteo to his favorite locations, under the guise of an Easter egg hunt, with every egg containing a clue to the next location. The last clue lead to Howarth beach. When Dylan opened the last egg, the piece of paper inside said “will you marry me”. Dylan turned around and Roberto was on one knee.
