Boathouse Row is one of Philadelphia’s most picturesque and iconic landmarks, located along the Schuylkill River, just west of the city center. This historic site is a stretch of 15 boathouses that house various rowing clubs, each with its unique architecture and history.

Boathouse Row is situated along the east bank of the Schuylkill River, near Fairmount Park. The boathouses, which date back to the 19th century, are nestled between the river and a tree-lined path, offering a serene and scenic escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view from the opposite riverbank, especially from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, is particularly striking.
