Where is the wedding?
The wedding will take place at the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe (640 Alta Vista Dr, Vista, CA 92084). The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour/reception at the same location. Please keep in mind that both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors!
What date should I RSVP by?
Please send us your acceptances or regrets by February 1, 2025. You can RSVP on this very website--just look for the "RSVP" tab above. Please be sure to include all those listed on the invitation that will be in attendance (or the name of your plus-one, if applicable).
If you do not RSVP by February 1st, we will assume that you are unable to attend.
Where should I stay for the Wedding?
For our guests coming from out of town, we have set up a room block at a hotel just over a ten-minute drive from our venue. Local guests who prefer to stay closer to the venue are also welcome to reserve a room at this hotel! Check out the "Travel" tab on our website to learn more about accommodations.
Be sure to reserve your room by February 19, 2025, as that’s the cutoff date for our discounted price!
Are children welcome to attend?
Yes, children are welcome, but only those specifically invited. If your invitation is addressed to "The [Your Last Name] Family," this means your children are included. However, we will also understand if you'd prefer a night out to relax and celebrate without the little ones—you're more than welcome to attend with or without them!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm (PST). You are welcome to arrive as early as 3:30pm, but we encourage you to arrive by (at least) 3:45pm to allow yourself time to get settled and find a seat. To avoid interruptions, those who arrive after 4:00pm will be unable to view the ceremony; but will be more than welcome to join in on the fun during the reception.
Will you be having an open-mic during the reception?
Yes! You may have noticed that on your invitation. During the reception, we will have a brief "open-mic" period where anyone is welcome to share a few words. This will take place immediately after a few designated speeches. Feel free to prepare something in advance; or wing it in the moment! We would love to hear what our friends and family have to say.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Yes! We would love to have our special moment captured from our loved one’s perspectives. Feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like or sit back and enjoy the ceremony — it’s completely up to you. We will have a separate website for everyone to upload their personal photos to.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes! We will have an open bar with choices of beer and mead.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Plus-ones are welcome if your invitation includes a guest! If your envelope is addressed to "(Your Name) & Guest," you're welcome to bring someone along (make sure to RSVP for them, too)! If a plus-one isn't listed and you feel like you'd need one, please reach out to us. We'll do our best to accommodate, but due to certain limitations, we aren't able to offer plus-ones to all guests.
What should I wear?
We'd love for everyone to dress up and celebrate in style with us! The dress code is cocktail to formal attire, so feel free to get fancy! Please avoid jeans or denim, as well as any shades of cream or white. If you're unsure about what to wear or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—we're happy to help!
Will there be parking available?
Public parking will be available at the Civic Center on Alta Vista Dr., located across the street from our venue. Street parking is also allowed in designated areas. We will have signs directing guests toward the proper parking lot, so keep an eye out; and, please avoid parking in the business parks adjacent to the Adobe.
We recommend carpooling/organizing rides ahead of time, especially if you are planning on drinking.
What if my question isn't answered here?
