With a flick of her finger and a swipe to the right, she enchanted Elizabeth’s destiny by placing her on a magical portal known as “MeetMe.”&nbsp;Meanwhile, in a distant land not so different—yet plagued with shape-shifting bots and catfish sorcery—Sir Dylan of House “I Just Want Someone Real,” was growing weary. His noble steed (also known as “frustration”) was ready to gallop into solitude forever. That is, until his friend’s wife, Dakota the Matchmaker, flung him onto the very same enchanted app.&nbsp;Lo! As fate would have it, their paths crossed on the Eve of Valentine’s Day—February 13th, the Festival of Maybe-This-Won’t-Be-A-Disaster. Dylan, battle-worn from his digital crusades, saw Elizabeth’s profile and thought, “Perhaps this maiden is the one.”&nbsp;He reached out once. Silence.He reached out again. Still silence.&nbsp;You see, Elizabeth, upon seeing his profile picture, thought, “He looks like the kind of guy who brings a sword to brunch just to show off. Pass.”&nbsp;But finally, whether by destiny or just good timing, she replied. What followed was a magical night of words and wonder.
