Q + A

Parking

There is a parking lot behind the Pique Travel event space that is free for all guests. If that is full there is free parking in the Excelsior Brewing parking lot. There is also free street parking in downtown Excelsior, all within walking distance of the wedding venue.

Bringing a plus one

If your invitation did not include a plus one, and you would like to bring somebody, please reach out to us directly. Please do not bring any guests that are not included in your invitation without speaking with us first. There is very limited seating at the wedding venue so if there is somebody else you would like to bring please let us know sooner rather than later.

What are the drink options?

There will be a range of sodas, sparkling waters, and juices available. There will also be an open bar with a variety of alcoholic options. The company that is serving our alcohol has a strict NO SHOTS policy. There will be hard liquor available to add to a mixed drink.

What are the food options?

For the adults, there will be a buffet-style dinner which will include baked chicken tetrazzini, wild rice dusted walleye, fresh garden salad, and sides of potatoes and vegetables. There is also an option for a kid's meal! The kid's meal includes chicken tenders, mac and cheese, an applesauce cup, celery sticks, and carrot sticks. If you would like a kid's meal please contact us directly.

What does cocktail attire mean?

For the men, a suit is perfect with or without a tie. Jeans are too casual, but a tuxedo is too formal. For the ladies, either a dress or a nice blouse and formal pants would work well. Tennis shoes are too casual but don't feel like you have to wear high heels either. What's most important to us is that you feel comfortable and are able to have fun in whatever you decide to wear!

How do I RSVP?

1. Click on the RSVP tab on this website. 2. Type in your name. 3. Answer the RSVP questions. 4. Submit your email for confirmation! Please RSVP no later than July 1st. With your RSVP please let us know if you would like a kid's meal, if anybody in your party has allergies, or if you need any special accommodations.

Bringing Kids

Our wedding is a kid-friendly wedding! For those of you will smaller children, please note that there will be kids of ALL ages at the wedding. If you are currently nursing and require a private space, please reach out to us directly.

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors or indoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. There is also an outdoor patio attached to the venue. Please keep in mind that the wedding is in August and the venue is not a very large space so it is possible that it could be quite warm inside. There is air conditioning inside the venue.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. Please arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony to park and find your seat.
