Alba and Dylan met in January 2020, right before the COVID lockdown started. Meeting through social media, they quickly realized they went to the same university and had mutual interests. Their first date was in Downtown Miami at an Italian restaurant, where they enjoyed dinner, drinks, and a fantastic first memory together. Things continued through COVID with daily texting and nightly Facetime calls. Dylan and Alba were able to keep a long-term relationship from Miami to Islamorada until 2022, when they moved in with each other. Dylan proposed to Alba in the Dominican Republic in June 2023 in an intimate setting a day before his planned dinner proposal on the beach.
