Our Wedding

Our Story 

We met in February 2021, during our sophomore year of college when Grace went with a friend to visit Iowa State for the weekend. We clicked instantly and spent the whole weekend together, before you know it we were both travelling to spend weekends together in Ames, Eau Claire and Lakeville! We spent our first two years together dating long distance and looked forward to coming home and spending every summer together. Over the years, we've grown a lot together—celebrating each other's milestones, taking on new adventures, and building a life together filled with love, faith, and laughter. As best friends and perfect opposites, we balance one another in the best ways. Whether we’re trying new restaurants, playing golf, walking Olive, or enjoying our Sunday morning church &amp; bagels, we just love spending time together. On March 6, 2025 after nearly four years of dating Dylan proposed during a birthday getaway at Grand View Lodge in northern MN. He popped the question at sunset and surprised Grace with her grandparents, mom and Dylan's parents to celebrate before travelling back home for a surprise birthday / engagement party with all of our favorite people! It was the best 48 hours EVER! In March, 2026 we will celebrate one year of engagement and start on the most exciting chapter yet - marriage! We are so thankful for our family and friends who have encouraged us along the way and cannot wait to celebrate our wedding day with the people that matter most to us.

General Questions

What is the dress code? 

Please join us in formal attire to match the tone of our celebration. Suits for men and long dresses or elevated cocktail dresses for women.

Can I bring someone additional with me? 

We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to space and planning, we’re only able to include the guests named on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.

Where should we park? 

Ceremony: Free guest parking is available at the Eagle Brook Church parking lot for the ceremony. Venue: The hotel has two levels of heated underground parking available or a surface lot. Guests can enter and exit the lot as many times as needed throughout their stay. Overnight parking charges are additional. Currently, overnight self-parking is $30+tax per vehicle per night and overnight valet-parking is $55+tax per vehicle per night.

Is there time between ceremony and the reception?

Yes — there will be a short break between the ceremony and reception to allow guests to travel and get settled. Our pastor will direct guests after the ceremony to participate in a church send off before heading to the reception. The drive is approximately 6 minutes; both addresses are listed on the "home" page.

Will there be an open bar at the reception? 

Yes! We’re hosting the bar until 10:00 pm. From 10:00–11:30 pm, the bar will remain open as a cash bar

What time should we arrive at the ceremony?

We kindly ask guests to arrive no more than 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow our team time to prepare the space.

Can we use our phones during the ceremony? 

We’re having an unplugged ceremony. We ask that guests silence and put away their phones so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture everything, and we can’t wait to share the photos afterward.
