Dylan & Nicole met in April of 2021 through a dating app - shout out to Bumble! They quickly realized how much they had in common including the importance of their families, engineering, a general love of note taking, sports, Survivor, and ice cream. Over the next few months, they grew closer and became more important parts of each other's lives. Dylan quickly realized that Nicole could be “The One” and Finn, Nicole’s puppy, claimed Dylan as her favorite playmate almost immediately. Nicole took a bit longer to come around but was won over by Dylan's selfless care, steadfast support, killer (wedding) dance moves, and willingness to help with house projects.


Dylan proposed on 11/12/23 at Charleston Falls in Tipp City, OH. He executed “Operation Purple Love” flawlessly, despite Nicole's unwitting attempts to ruin the day. He had them meet up with friends for a hike and ultimately proposed to Nicole under the falls. With help from their friends, not only was the moment captured on video, but both of their families were watching from the ridge above, ready to celebrate!
