For months, she felt that something significant was on the horizon — perhaps even meeting “the one.” One day, she clearly heard God say, “Try again.” Trusting that prompting, she decided to download a few dating apps… and that’s where this love story began.KwekuAt the same time, Kay was finishing his final semester at Colorado State University, pursuing his master’s degree in Computer Information Systems. Life in Fort Collins, Colorado, was full and rewarding — between school, work, and community — yet something still felt missing. Deep down, he knew it was love. Following a nudge of his own, he decided to give Facebook Dating a try, and one day, he came across EdLeea’s profile.The ConnectionKay made the first move by sending EdLeea a message on Facebook Dating. It took her a few days to respond, but once she did, it was worth the wait. They chatted on the app for about a week before exchanging numbers, and their connection was instant. The chemistry was undeniable, and their shared faith, values, and goals created a natural bond.For the first few months, they navigated a long-distance relationship, visiting each other every month and building a strong foundation through faith, communication, and love. Each visit made their connection even deeper and confirmed that they were meant to be. What is the dress code?Formal attire, please. There’s no specific color, but we recommend dressing warmly as it may be a bit chilly outdoors. Is there a gift policy or preferences?Your presence is the greatest gift! However, if you wish to give, we have a registry on our website. Cash gifts or gift cards to Amazon, Target, Walmart, or travel-related cards are also appreciated. Where is the ceremony and reception located?Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Che’ne Rouge, 86 Poplar Springs Rd #2325, Hiram, GA 30141. What time should guests arrive?Please plan to arrive by 5:00 PM. Late arrivals after 5:00 PM may not be admitted. Is parking available onsite?Yes, ample free parking is available onsite. Will transportation be provided between venues?No, transportation will not be provided. Are children invited?While we love kids, this will be an adults-only celebration. Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?The ceremony will be outdoors, with the reception held indoors. What is the RSVP deadline?Please RSVP by December 1st. How do I RSVP?Follow the RSVP instructions provided on your invitation. Will there be food and drink served?Yes! Enjoy light refreshments during cocktail hour, followed by food and drinks at the reception. Can I bring a plus-one or guest?Please include any additional guests on your RSVP. Are pets allowed?We kindly ask that pets not attend the celebration. Is there a wedding registry?Yes, you can find it under the Registry tab on our website. Will the ceremony be livestreamed?We hope to livestream the ceremony for those who can’t attend in person.
