Q + A

Dress code:

We would LOVE to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal. Please no white or cream clothing, no blue jeans, no sneakers, or any casual wear. Please avoid wearing the colors of the wedding party which are tan, sage green, and white.

Then what do I wear to a beach wedding?

Here are some articles to support your cocktail/semi-formal attire for our beach wedding: https://www.brides.com/beach-wedding-attire-4842339 https://destinationweddingdetails.com/beach-wedding-attire-tips.html

Can I bring my Children?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception adults-only, unless specified on your invitation. We encourage you to use this as a date night to relax, socialize and dance! Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring a date/guest?

If your guest name is listed on your invite when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices are put away and silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and we’d hate for the photos to have phones in them! During the cocktail hour and reception, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like!

Are there Hotel accommodations?

YES! Under the “travel” tab on this website you can find our specialized rate for the hotels next to the wedding venue. These are the closest hotels but you are more than welcome to stay somewhere else of your choosing. Make sure you book through the link on the website so you can get the lowered rate. *Each individual person is responsible financially for their own room and flight*

What is the climate in Roatan, Honduras?

Bay Islands enjoys an ideal climate year-round, with temperatures averaging 33°C / 91°F from October to April (Spring/Summer), and 24°C / 75°F from May to September (Autumn/Winter).

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony will be taking place outdoors on the sandy/beach area in front of San Simon Beach Club, weather permitted. The reception will be taking place inside of San Simon Beach Club.
