Our Story

Our story begins in 8th or 9th grade when Edward was a Horace Mann Buffalo and Laura was a Bonham Mustang at San Jacinto Park in Amarillo, Texas. We have always hung in the same circles and shared best friends. After graduating from PD, Edward served in the Army and went on his own separate journey through fatherhood and continuing his passion for barbering. After graduation, Laura went to SHSU and played volleyball, then moving on into her career in education and motherhood. During Christmas of 2011, our paths crossed at The Big House as we were both leaving longterm relationships. We were happy to rekindle our childhood friendship to support each other. We grew close as best friends while Edward lived in Amarillo and Laura was in Houston. The friendship began to develop into a loving bond as we met in Dallas once a month through the next year and a half. In April 2013, Edward moved to Houston and two households became one. Together, we have raised our remaining five children at home together creating a perfectly imperfect family. Some of Edward and my greatest joys together have been celebrating and supporting our children and families. After 13 years, we have decided to make it official with a simple courthouse ceremony complete with heartfelt vows. A wedding reception will follow on Nov 30, 2024 in celebration of our lifetime relationship and love for each other. Our Lord and Savior has led the way through amazing times and some challenging times bringing us to our happily ever after.

In lieu of a traditional wedding shower, we have created a honeymoon registry.
