How we met
Edward: We met at college! I was in counseling course. she was in computer science course. The more she teased me about computers the more I got closer to her.
Mary-Sarah: He was cute, very friendly, respectful and a gentleman! He liked me first, but I didn’t pay attention. He however became a very good friend.
Edward: We enjoyed each others company so much and had a lot of fun together, walking in woods to the beach and back...
Mary-Sarah: ....swimming, eating pork/ kikalaayi, dancing every weekend, driving lessons from him in his brothers car, computer lessons so he would improve his skills....
Edward: .... not forgetting sleepovers; but I was a god boy and a great sleeper!
Mary-Sarah: ....though I don’t know if he was sleeping or pretending, lol, but I used to keep awake until I couldn’t! 😂!
As I said, he made the first move, but I was not impressed until he made his first address as a guild president. Oh my, I wanted him to talk for the whole day! It was stunning 😍. I couldn’t pretend being just a friend anymore but had to find out if he loved me for a serious relationship!
Edward: As many African girls do, she pretended on so many occasions and presented as if she was not interested in me.
Mary-Sarah:.... hummmm until that one day when he said to me “can we at least have a child together!”
That statement made me think deeply and helped me explore him more. In him, I saw a great friend and father and a companion. And did not pretend anymore. I started enjoying the dance floor much more and finishing my beer because I knew I was safe and he was the perfect guy to take care of me! Today, we have three beautiful children together, Francis, Jenny and Mary-Hellen.
