Marishka and Edwins story began in high school Algebra 2 class in January 2009. It was there, that their paths first crossed and sparks of love in their eyes flamed everyday during the school year. The Fiery connection waved through time that would blossom into a lasting relationship. The initial spark of their connection, perhaps a shared laugh or a mutual interest discovered during a class discussion, quickly grew into something more significant. They navigated the typical experiences of high school together, from going on movie dates but making sure Marishka gets back home before curfew and later on the freedom of late night parties to the challenges of surviving as a new couple on the block, all while their bond deepened. This foundation, built on shared experiences and mutual cultural understanding, provided a strong base for their relationship to flourish through all the years, marking the beginning of their journey together.

Chris is a person that always looked out for Edwin not just as a family but also as a great friend. They share same birth place in Montreal, Canada and raised in Florida .A big brother relationship that help raise the man that is getting married soon!!

Gio and Edwin deep and enduring friendship back in their middle school days and has only strengthened over time. . Growing up, they were inseparable, sharing countless experiences and forming a foundation of mutual support.

Chandler and Edwin share a profound connection, a bond deeper than many brothers. Their friendship is fiercely competitive, yet they remain a constant support to one another, just a phone call away. Chandler has been a pillar of strength for Edwin through life's challenges, and Edwin is now honored to be the godfather of Chandler's child."

Peter Lee, a South Florida firefighter, lived for basketball and his lifelong bond with Edwin. Their brotherhood, forged on neighborhood courts and in AAU circuits. Peter's loyalty was unwavering, mirroring his teamwork on the court and everyday life.

Alex and Edwin built a deep bond during their high school years, Their shared experiences, from the casual swapping of clothes for school and house parties to helping Edwin stardom of athletic training of track and field. Edwin, in particular, found a reliable confidante in Alex, someone he could lean on during difficult times and understanding of loyalty.

Joe, twin cousin to Edwin, shares a remarkably close bond with the same birth date and year. The Moreau family, having established their base in Queens NY after emigrating from Haiti in the 80s. Joe successfully manages his own business (Moreau Enterprise) and real estate agent in both New York and Georgia. He carries with him the work ethic and resilience instilled by his family, reflecting the enduring spirit of the Haitian diaspora.

Gillian Reid actually doubles as mother of the bride and maid of honor. A mother and daughter bonded as friends in the womb. You usually don’t see one without the other. Fun fact: Gillian is actually a foot taller than Marishka (definitely did not pass down the height).

Danielle Gillette is Marishka’s sister. Her care truly defines what a big sister is all about. Fun fact: She is actually the unofficial made of honor, while Gillian takes all the credit.

Shakira affectionately known as “Kiruh” or “wifey” is one of Marishka longest friends and confidant and hairstylist. Fun fact: Both Kiruh and Marishka are cone suers of video games”

Ashley Jones is Marishka’s longest friend. Ashley’s commitment to longevity is what has made their friendship last the test of time. Fun fact: Ashley’s yearbook quote should have been “Most likely to take a picture”
