Steph and Eileen met through mutual friends in January 2020. They had a great time hanging out with friends and checking out the live music scene in Rochester and then along came a pandemic.

With a shared love of Scrabble and an appreciation for each other's interests, their relationship steadily grew stronger, leaping through job changes, housing changes, and surprisingly low-conflict pandemic isolation.

This past December there was not one, but two surprise proposals! They each had fun picking out rings and planning the perfect way to pop the question. Each involved the love, support, and impressive secret-keeping of family and friends.

They're excited to share this next step in their relationship with their loved ones in July 2022.
