Please RSVP via the link on this website by 01/06/24.
What time should I arrive?
We ask you to arrive any time from 12:30, and by no later than 1pm to allow everyone to be seated for a 1:30pm ceremony.
Can I bring a plus one?
We kindly ask that you do not bring a plus one along to our wedding ceremony/reception unless specified on your invitation. If you would like to bring someone along to the evening celebration, they are more than welcome to join for dancing from 7:30pm - please just let us know!
What should I wear?
The dress code is semi-formal - kilts encouraged. We are hoping to get married outside, so it's worth bringing an extra layer just in case!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
We are hoping to have the ceremony and reception outdoors on relatively flat/even ground. The wedding breakfast, dance floor and toilets are accessible via a ramp. Should we need to go inside the castle for the reception due to inclement weather, one of the rooms is up some steep stone stairs and unfortunately there is no lift. However, there is an alternative downstairs area in the castle which is wheelchair friendly.
Can I park at the venue?
There is a free car park on site - you are welcome to leave your car overnight and collect the next day.
Can I take photos at the wedding?
During our ceremony, we kindly request that you keep your phones/cameras turned off to minimise distractions and allow everyone to enjoy the moment. Apart from that, please snap away! All we ask is that you please do not share any photos of us on social media until after we have done so.
What food will be served at your wedding?
We'll be serving canapés during the reception, followed by a sit down 3 course meal at 5pm, and late night snacks at 9:30pm.
Will there be a bar?
As well as reception/dinner drinks provided by us, there will be a bar available, accepting both cash and card. Please note that the bar will not open until after the ceremony.
How can I get home at the end of the night?
If you require transport, we advise you to book your taxi well in advance to avoid being stranded in the Kinross countryside. There is no Uber in this neck of the woods! The local taxi company is called A2B Taxis, and they have cars that can seat up to 8 people. The number to book is 07743332237.
If you do end up stranded, campers are welcome…
I still have questions.
If you have any other questions please get in touch with either of us - 07460641092 (Eilidh) or 07817137676 (Scott).
