Our Wedding

If you are reading this, is because you have been part of&nbsp;this one of a kind love story. Maybe you are familiar with just a few&nbsp;chapters and you are wondering about the rest of the&nbsp;book. &nbsp;

Wet met&nbsp;in 1999 at&nbsp;the Simón Bolívar University&nbsp; in&nbsp;Caracas, Venezuela. Since that day, we instantly connected and started&nbsp;sharing a common path&nbsp;that&nbsp;has lasted&nbsp;20 years... and counting!























We have always been very different, but somehow&nbsp;we have always been&nbsp;right for each other.&nbsp;





We grew up together in Venezuela&nbsp;while we were going to college. Those were fun years, marked by&nbsp;trips to beautiful Venezuelan landscapes, warm beaches,&nbsp;the&nbsp;unforgettable&nbsp;Puerto Azul and the gatherings with our&nbsp;extended families and lifetime&nbsp;friends. So much to remember!&nbsp;























In 2005, we moved out of our country and decided to start a new life where we are now&nbsp;lucky to&nbsp;call home, the United States.&nbsp;We first moved to Oklahoma&nbsp;while doing&nbsp;our Masters and running together&nbsp;the first Venezuelan organization at OU. Who can forget those Venezuelan Nights?&nbsp;&nbsp;Day and night rehearsals&nbsp;to represent our beautiful&nbsp;country!























Then we moved to Houston together and one more time we were there for each other while starting our professional lives in the US. This was a new chapter all over that required a lot of team effort:&nbsp;a new state, new jobs and friends.&nbsp;























After dating for nine years, in 2008, we decided to get married and we&nbsp;celebrated our first beautiful wedding in Venezuela. So many hopes and shared goals. So much to celebrate!























We spent almost 9 years married to each other, sharing a beautiful home, celebrating many&nbsp;achievements and caring for each other,&nbsp;but also going through hard times. Let's say that Eirasmin loved Houston, but Houston didn't love her back.&nbsp;























Eirasmin's health deteriorated in Houston at a fast rate, to a point that the only solution, was to (one more&nbsp;time) move out. But this time it was a different story, Eirasmin moved out to the sunshine state by herself and Gabriel stayed in Houston.&nbsp;So&nbsp;the marriage&nbsp;(temporarily) ended in 2016. We both&nbsp;learned from this experience. It was a hard one, but it made us&nbsp;stronger.&nbsp;























A year&nbsp;went by, Eirasmin established herself in Miami and her health issues completely disappeared. Gabriel went on with his life in Houston...&nbsp;Until one day we&nbsp;realized that we&nbsp;had more in common that what kept us&nbsp;apart.&nbsp;Sometimes, you have to hit the lows to appreciate&nbsp;the highs and it's&nbsp;for that reason that&nbsp;we are&nbsp;grateful for the hard times.













Even though we were living in different states, we decided to give our relationship another chance.&nbsp;Gabriel started visiting Eirasmin every other weekend in Miami and we started a new exciting&nbsp;chapter based on&nbsp;communication, love and respect.&nbsp;&nbsp;























If you are still reading about our story,&nbsp;here comes the&nbsp;fun part! By&nbsp;the end of 2018 we got engaged at a cruise in the Caribbean.&nbsp;Even though we still&nbsp;lived in two different states, we decided that it was time&nbsp;to tie the knot once again.























And here we are, a few months later, inviting our closest family and friends, to celebrate&nbsp;our decision to&nbsp;share one path.&nbsp;We truly appreciate&nbsp;your love and support.&nbsp;

We look forward to having you on this&nbsp;special day when we will be&nbsp;celebrating&nbsp;One of a Kind&nbsp;Love Story.&nbsp;
