Elaina and Teddy met in August 2020 the way that all couples meet: the romantic world of dating apps. After they matched and shared the usual pleasantries, Teddy messaged Elaina that "I think we are going to get along well" before their first date. Elaina thought this was quite forward but was intrigued by Teddy’s confidence.

Fortunately, Teddy’s suspicions proved true. Teddy and Elaina had a long first date where they bonded over their shared interests (e.g., sports, video games, beer, and spending time with their families). In the ensuing months, they spent countless nights relaxing in Elaina’s and her brother Jeff’s apartment (now Elaina and Teddy’s apartment), enjoying Boston Celtics games, spending time with their cats ("the boys"), and trying new restaurants.

Two years after Teddy’s bold prediction, Teddy proposed to Elaina on the roof deck of XV Beacon overlooking the Boston skyline. Immediately thereafter, they celebrated with their immediate families at their favorite steakhouse in the city, Mooo....Beacon Hill.

We are so excited to continue along this journey together and share this next milestone with all of our family and friends who have been so integral to making us who we are today, both as individuals and together as a couple.
