Where should I fly?

From Ireland, you can fly into Faro airport from Dublin, Shannon, or Knock. It then takes 35 minutes to drive to Albufeira.

Anything I should do before I fly in?

Download and set up the Bolt and Uber apps on your phone. Taxis in the Algarve are cheaper on the app and are generally pretty quick. When you arrive in Faro, book a taxi on the app rather than getting an airport taxi as they can be a lot more expensive.

Who is invited and when should we RSVP?

Kindly note, our ceremony and reception will be an adults only celebration. We will send out RSVPs within 6 months of the wedding.

How long should I stay?

It's completely up to you! We really appreciate you making the journey out to us in any form. We'll be out from Tuesday 9th to Tuesday the 16th of June.

What will the weather be like?

The weather in Albufeira in June tends to be 20-26 degrees during the day before dropping to 16-18 degrees at night.

Is there transport to the venue?

Yes, there will be a bus leaving Alfagar at 2pm on the day of the wedding. It will bring guests to the ceremony and then on to the venue. There will also be a bus from the venue back to Alfagar at 2am that night.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony is indoors in the church. The drinks reception will be outdoors for an hour but we will move inside at mealtime for the rest of the night!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We will be taking food options closer to the time, please let us know then!
