It all started as a girls' trip to Devil’s Lake State Park that I suggested before the 2023-24 school year ended. During our planning, my roommates craftily convinced me to invite Noah along just in case we needed a driver. Despite a gloomy weather forecast (85% chance of rain), we decided to go for it and drove to Baraboo, WI.

The rain held off when we arrived, but halfway through our hike, it started to drizzle. Hannah and Hailey went scouting for photo spots, and we ended up hiking higher for a "better view" :)

When we reached a clearing, Noah took my hand, led me to the edge, and got down on one knee.
