We first became acquainted way back in the '80s, part of a circle of twenty somethings trying to find their way. Those young versions of us would have gotten a good laugh at just the mention of us one day in the future dating, much less being engaged! But life has a way of surprising us. In 2020, in the midst of the global pandemic, something started to grow. A friend's wedding, a nervous text, a plus one...an old friendship blossoms into love.
