Our Story
How We Met
Rob and Elaine were introduced on May 10th, 2021 when Rob started working at Prairie Moon Nursery. While they were both in sales, their cubicles were diagonally across from each other in the office.
They quickly became friends and spent most Monday evenings together as part of their trivia team. What started as friendly competition among coworkers turned into a growing realization that they just really enjoyed being around each other.

Throughout their relationship, Rob and Elaine have enjoyed many adventures hiking, camping, and canoeing throughout Wisconsin.
Of course, many of those hikes also include Rob grabbing out the field guides for some plant identification.
Over time, they fell in love through their mutual love of being outdoors, their shared humor, and their ability to quote any Harry Potter, Disney, or Lord of the Rings movie at the drop of a hat. Being together just made sense.
On December 21, 2024, Rob proposed to Elaine in their apartment. They enjoyed hot cocoa and pancakes for breakfast then exchanged Christmas gifts. Rob gifted Elaine her very own Kretz Jersey, welcoming her into his family and then proposed.
