We met and now we're getting married. Yay!

Okay, but actually we do have a story. Nate was supposed to be my last Mutual date (this is Elayna in case anyone was confused or hasn't already noticed that). I was kinda underwhelmed with dating at that point and was going to take a break for a few months. I promised Nate that I would go on a date with him but in my mind I was just going to friendzone him and move on with life. Technically speaking, he was my last Mutual date. But instead of friend-zoning him, I fell in love with him. Oops.

Our first date was an orchestra concert then ice cream. I don't really remember what was said but I knew within 10 minutes that Nate was someone I could see myself falling for. I came home with the biggest, cheesiest grin on my face and a promise for a second date.

That second date was to a different orchestra concert. The third date was to Ballet West's production of Dracula. Nate held my hand that day:) Eventually, we had our first kiss and after that, Nate asked me to be his girlfriend. If you talk to either of us, we'll tell you how easy it was to be together. And it still is! Every exciting step in dating just felt right.

Since everything felt so right, the next step was easy. I knew on my birthday that I was going to marry him. Nate knew pretty soon after. And you know, saying yes to his proposal has been the easiest thing I've ever done. There is no one else in this world that I want to be with. Nate is far better than anything I could have ever dreamed of.

Anywaaay, we're very excited about getting married! We're so happy and looking forward to see what the future holds for us:)

Hey this is Nate now! Elayna is really good at mancala, but I usually win when we play Uno so it evens out. I keep telling her that Uno is a very strategic game too, which makes her laugh. But maybe it is just luck though because I'm feeling pretty lucky to have her! Thanks for going on that one last Mutual date Elayna :)
