What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses and suits with a tie or a sports coat. But most importantly, wear something you can dance in.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Our ceremony and reception will both be at the Mason (yay!), and both will take place indoors, so there is no need to worry about crazy Texas weather.
What happens after the ceremony?
Guests will join us in the drawing room for cocktail hour, where we will be serving delicious finger foods and beverages.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive about half an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
We will have a free valet available to park up to 50 cars.
Can I bring a date?
We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but in this expensive world we live in, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP, or can I do it online?
Please RSVP by November 12th; we made it easy for you to do it right here on our wedding website.
Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Ramps and elevators are available for anyone who needs it.
Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Do you even know us? Of course, there will be food. Light bites will be served directly after the ceremony at cocktail hour, and a sit-down dinner will be served at the reception. Options for chicken, steak and vegetarian pasta dishes are available. Please let us know in the notes on your RSVP if you have any allergies!
Where are you registered?
We have our online registry here on our wedding website, just at the top menu bar. In addition, Elena works for Sur La Table HQ and would love gift cards to spend with her employee discount, so those are welcome in lieu of a physical gift. And, of course, our honeymoon fund is open for any amount you are comfortable with gifting towards our Scotland + Ireland honeymoon.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We will have an absolutely phone-free ceremony. We've hired a very talented photography team and want to allow them to shoot our special day on their own. After that, snap all the pictures you wish to at the cocktail hour and reception! In addition, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels; our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #CallHerConnolly so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
