We started dating in high school but our story goes back even further than that! Christian was Elena's brother's childhood best friend and after years of him being around, our relationship evolved into a close-knit circle of best friends. Eventually, Christian was driving Elena home after school all the time, and well, I'm sure you can figure out the rest! We grew up together, fell in love as teenagers- and the rest is history.

We graduated high school, got through long-distance, and quickly realized together is where we needed to be! After experiencing college in a pandemic, a few classes together, and lots of football games, we both graduated from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) and while Elena finished her degree, Christian worked full time in Oklahoma! Elena knew the engagement had to be coming soon after graduation so in June 2023 when the annual family trip was coming up, she had suspicions. Sure enough, on the beautiful Florida beach at sunset, Christian proposed! After 6 years together and what feels like lots of life changes, we are so excited and blessed to be celebrating our marriage with you! This past summer we moved across the country to Knoxville, Tennessee on our new adventure with our new careers and we can't wait to welcome you to our new state, "Nashville style!" It will be a weekend to remember!
