We have been together for five amazing years. Five years of loving each other, growing together, learning together, and experiencing the hard ships together while we grow up.

Justin and I met while working at our local grocery store, Pick n Save. He was 17, I was 19. Immediately I knew I was going to marry him. We were friends for around five months before I confessed I had feelings for him. Against my best judgement, he friend-zoned me due to me having my daughter, Kinsley….Smart boy for being 17, almost 18. That is until we started having one on one time together. We would hang out more, eventually hanging out every single day. One night we had gone to a park we had both grew up around, Bowen Park in Waukegan. We were there for what felt like hours. It was the middle of winter and we had eventually gone back into his car where he kissed me for the first time.

Again, in that moment I knew it was going to be a journey; but this is the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with. Justin is a great friend, lover, father and son. We have been on this crazy journey called life for five years now and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

We have helped each other at our best and worst times. Every love story is beautiful, but ours is our favorite.
