If you are flying, the closest airport is Ljubljana airport, which is only a 40-minute drive from Bled. By Bus Ljubljana is extremely well-connected to Lake Bled. There's at least one bus every hour going to Bled from Ljubljana, with some buses stopping directly at the Ljubljana Airport. You should catch the train to Lesce-Bled so that you do not have to switch trains along the way. You can then go on a short cab ride from the station to your final destination. You can book train tickets here: https://potniski.sz.si/ By Car If you are renting a car, you can drive to Bled mostly on the highway. It is roughly a 40-45 minute drive from Ljubljana to Bled. Follow the highway to the northwest toward Kranj, exit the highway at Lesce and drive for another 10 minutes, following the signs for Bled.

The ceremony is at a church. If your shoulders are not covered, please bring a shawl or a jacket. If your dress is above the knee, a wrap would also be a good item to carry. Please make sure that you can walk in your shoes on uneven terrain (cobblestone alert!). If you are worried, bring an extra pair of flats that you can put on when walking. The shawl/jacket will also be useful at night, when the temperatures cool off.

For safety reasons given the venues, we politely request no children.
