Our Wedding

Over four years ago, in early January, a simple grocery run turned into the beginning of something special. I was at Publix picking up a few things for my family, and Alex had just finished a workout at UFC gym. We crossed paths, did the classic side to side shuffle, laughed, and went on our way. Just a fleeting moment, or so we thought. But fate wasn’t done with us yet. As I was checking out, I noticed Alex was too. I thought nothing of it until, as I was leaving, he called out to get my attention and asked for my number. From that day on, we talked endlessly, getting to know each other. Alex kept asking me out, but I was a bit unsure at first, after all, we met in a grocery store! Still, he never gave up. His patience, charm, and kindness never faded, and over time, he won me over. Months passed, and by end of May, after endless conversations and persistence on his part, I finally said yes. That first date was unforgettable. That night, he made sure it was special, one of those moments you just know is meant to be and from then on, we spent almost every day together. As time went on, our bond grew stronger, and a little over two years later, on Christmas, Alex surprised me with our sweet pup, Charlie, who quickly became part of our little family. Now, years after that chance meeting in the grocery store, here we are, about to say "I do" and begin our next chapter together. We can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with all of you! 🤍

Our wedding will be a black-tie celebration, and we kindly ask our guests to dress in a manner that is both elegant and timeless. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or formal evening suits. Ladies are asked to wear floor-length gowns in keeping with the formality of the evening. To complement the setting, we kindly request attire in deep, romantic jewel tones—such as midnight or navy blue, sapphire, plum, garnet, wine, mahogany, berry, or other rich, deep, sophisticated hues. These tones will beautifully reflect the ambiance of the evening. To honor the bridal party and immediate family, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white, ivory, sage green, or overly light or pale shades. We can’t wait to celebrate this special evening with you.

CEREMONYComplimentary on-site parking is available at the church, with additional street parking nearby. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to allow time to park and be seated for the ceremony. RECEPTIONValet parking will be available at the Miami Marriott Dadeland, where many of our guests will be staying for the weekend. If you plan to enjoy a few celebratory drinks, we kindly recommend arranging for overnight accommodations or using a ride service such as Uber or Lyft for a safe and worry-free evening.
