Our story began on July 5th, 2021 with a little help from our loved ones.

It was a hot and humid day on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. After a series of disappointing dates, Elena agreed to be set up with a mystery man, John. John was equally unsure of who he'd encounter when he agreed to the blind date, but didn't think too much of it. That evening, as he approached the restaurant, he spotted a girl walking on the wrong side of the street - he immediately realized that she had no sense of direction...and that she must be Elena.

The beginning of their story was on that warm summer evening, just two days before Elena was set to leave for Greece. The two talked, laughed, and chatted for hours over their meal and ended their evening at Levain Bakery. After saying goodbye and wondering if they'd ever see each other again, Elena and John parted ways. The two thought about each other throughout the summer, and that September, they reconnected and picked up right where they left off.

On September 30th, 2023, John made it official in the couple's favorite place, Central Park. Cheers to many years of adventures, love, and laughter ahead!
