Our Story
Chad and Elena first met through their mutual friend, Allison Petrillo, who set them up for Elena's sorority date party at VYCE Social Club in Philadelphia because Elena needed a date and Chad wanted to go to a sorority formal event. Luckily, they hit it off and continued to see each other after the party was over until making it official on New Years Day of 2018 and the rest was history.
Since then, they've continued to grow together from graduating undergrad at West Chester University; adopting their baby puppy, Cooper; starting their first jobs; moving in to Chad's first apartment in King of Prussia to then moving in together; Elena graduating her masters program; and traveling the world together. They've stuck by each other's sides through every high and low life has thrown at them and are so excited to continue this journey through starting their forever.
How did you first meet?
They first met through Allison Petrillo setting them up for Elena's sorority date party event. Officially, they met at West Chester University's library at a study table.
Who made the first move?
Technically, Allison made the first move by setting everything up for the date party, but Elena made the first move by texting Chad to ask for his t-shirt size for the date party shirt order. Shortly after, Chad asked Elena to meet in person at the library.
What was your most memorable date?
Our most memorable date(s) to me have to include these three...
1. Our first official date at the Downingtown Regal movie theater to see Happy Death Day (Chad's choice)
2. Our first date officially together as boyfriend and girlfriend at the Sixers game (my first NBA game) that Chad won tickets for, but exchanged for better seats down lower- of course. He also was put into a shooting contest after the game and was able to shoot baskets on the court which was really cool.
3. When we got engaged!!
What's your favorite activity to do together?
Traveling together and trying new restaurants. A few of our top favorite restaurants include Buddakan, Olio e Piu, Rosemary's, Tuna Bar, and Zahav
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Our first trip together to Cancun. It was spontaneous and just the best time exploring the area.
The dorkiest thing about us is
All the reality shows we watch together including Big Brother, Love Island, the Challenge, Survivor, and more!
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We'll be starting in Paris. Then we'll be traveling in Italy going to Rome, Florence, and Venice. Finally, we'll be ending our trip in Greece!
Who's going to take out the trash?
Chad because he's a gentleman :)
