Eli and Abby met in Tulsa OK when Eli was visiting for the holidays in 2022. Abby lived in Oklahoma and Eli in Montana, but they quickly realized that distance needed to lessen. It was only after 3 dates and 17 days that they started dating, and not much longer when they started talking about marriage. After lots of prayer and 5 more months of long distance phone calls and short visits to each others states, Eli finally moved to Tulsa to pursue Abby with intentions of marriage. June to September 2023 was a fun season of close proximity dating where they grew closer to each other and to God, until finally Eli decided to order the ring. Now here they are (we are) sitting on my (Eli's) parents couch in Oklahoma, anticipating one of the greatest days of our lives and hoping you can spend it with us. We want to give all glory to God for this journey, and want anyone reading this to know that it wasn't because of our goodness that we fell in love, but God's grace. As it's been said, "the search for a spouse isn't a pursuit of perfection, but a mutually flawed pursuit of Jesus."
