For guests arriving early and looking for a different type of experience to fill their time in advance of wedding activities, Charlotte is home to the NASCAR Hall of Fame which is a "museum" like no other. From interactive exhibits such as racing simulators & other that allow you to virtually deconstruct and then rebuild a teams car for race day, to a detailed walk through of NASCAR's 70+ year history, there is something for everyone.
North Carolina is known for one of the top Brewery cultures in the US. As such, there are too many to even count in the Charlotte area.. with more popping up every week! Alec & Eliana frequent both Legion Brewing and Suffolk Punch (seen above) in the South Park area, but the best places for brewery "hopping" is SouthEnd (just south of Uptown), LOSO (lower SouthEnd, the very lower section of SouthEnd), NoDa (North Davidson, just north of Uptown) and Plaza Midwood (just west of Uptown).
