From Hallways to Happily Ever After

Matt and I first met in high school — we had a few classes together, shared some laughs, and were friendly, but never quite close. Life moved on, and so did we. Years passed, and then in 2021, something shifted. Out of nowhere, Matt reached out. It started with a simple message, and before we knew it, we were talking every day.What began as a casual reconnection quickly turned into something more. We bonded over old memories, new dreams, and the kind of conversations that make you feel like you’ve known someone forever. It was as if the timing had finally caught up with us. In a year full of change, we found something steady and real — each other. In the fall of 2025, Matt planned a weekend getaway to the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont — a cozy, picturesque spot nestled in the mountains. I thought it was just a relaxing escape, but Matt had something much more meaningful in mind.On our second night, we had dinner at the lodge’s restaurant, surrounded by candlelight and the warm glow of fall foliage outside. Just as dessert arrived, Matt stood up, walked around to my side of the table, and got down on one knee. I was completely stunned — and then even more surprised when I noticed people discreetly snapping photos nearby. He had arranged for the moment to be captured without me knowing, making it even more special.I said yes through happy tears, and we spent the rest of the evening celebrating, soaking in the magic of the moment and the beauty of Vermont. It was intimate, thoughtful, and so perfectly us.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head to the patio / indoor(depending on weather ) dining area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour.

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend you arrive 20 mins before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
