Every love story has a beginning, but ours was written long before we ever met, penned by God Himself.

Somewhere in the quiet of His perfect timing, He was preparing our hearts. He was teaching us patience, healing old wounds, and gently shaping us into the people we needed to be… for each other.

When the time was right, when our hearts were finally open and ready to love deeply again, God’s plan began to unfold in the most unexpected way: through an Arabic dating app called Baklava.

Sabreen, in Arizona, was living close to family and embracing a season of growth. Elias, in San Jose, was focused on work and life’s everyday rhythms. Neither of us knew that a simple swipe would change everything. But God knew.

From our very first conversation, there was a spark. Not the fleeting kind, but the kind that feels safe, steady, and familiar, like finding something you didn’t even know you were missing.
