Elie and Erica had their charming first encounter at North Carolina A&amp;T eight years ago (AGGIE PRIDE!). They remained in touch over the years and surprisingly reunited in 2020 at a local church’s food drive. Serving together, side-by-side, and later reconnecting in deep conversation over Ledo pizza, Erica knew Elie was the one for her. Their love for one another has grown profoundly over the years and led to this moment of saying yes to each other, forever.

On the night of December 23, 2023,

To Erica's suprise,

Elie got down on one knee...

...and She said YES!

Erica was taken aback when Elie proposed to her on the night of December 23, 2023, at The Wharf in Washington D.C. The atmosphere was perfect, surrounded by love, with the crisp winter air and the lights twinkling in the background as Elie got down on one knee. It was a Hallmark movie moment that Erica would never forget, and she said yes without hesitation.
