September of 2021 both Chloe and Elijah were working at the same Kroger. Their mutual friend, Shelby, invited both of them to Kings Dominion for the annual Haunt. Chloe and Shelby drove up together and hung out before Elijah got off work and joined them for the fun night.

On the drive up there, Shelby confided in Chloe about her feelings trowed Elijah, and Chloe said she felt the same about him. Thus started the very interesting night for the Three Musketeers.

Once Elijah got off work and meet up with the two friends waiting for him, they took off into some of the houses, Elijah leading the way, Chloe right behind him, and Shelby hanging on to Chloe's shirt (for dear life).

Once the night started the fun only kept coming, scares and laughs filled the night, and the three of them decided to wrap things up with a trip to the small Eiffel tower. Elijah started to get closer to Chloe, which of course Shelby noticed.

Chloe kept trying to keep it chill and kept putting space between herself and Elijah.

And that brings us to the end of the night, the Ferris wheel. Shelby sat on one side, and Chloe and Elijah sat on the other. during the ride Elijah put his arm around Chloe, Shelby saw and felt envious, lonely, jealous even. All of these feelings coming to the surface, and all of these emotions triggered a panic attack.

Chloe tried to calm her down but wasn't able to until they got off the ride. Elijah had no idea what was happening, and was very confused as to why Shelby started to cry, Chloe said she would explain everything later (she did the next day)

The three of them still laugh about that night. Shelby's feelings have since died (her words), and they have all grown closer together because of that night.

Every year since they go together and have made more memories to last a life time.

In the few months after the trip to haunt, Elijah and Chloe started talking and hanging out more (with Shelby as a buffer)

And after a few months of hanging out, Chloe went to the beach for her 19th birthday, and in his happy birthday call, he asked if she had any plans for dinner the day she got back.

When Chloe made it back, Elijah picked her up and took her out to dinner. Over the course of dinner they got to talking about where they wanted this relationship to go.

Both wanted something more, and Elijah ended the night with ice cream and asking Chloe to be his girlfriend. She accepted, and they become official February 16th 2022.

Over the next few months, they become closer and started to talk about the future. They had already discussed the topic of marriage and both agreed that it would be better to get married later, and while they grow up together they will learn to live life as one.

January 8th 2023, Elijah and Chloe make a day trip up to Kings Dominion to have some fun on their day off, after the very cold trip, they headed to their car and talk about going to dinner. Elijah ends up pulling out a small box and talks about how happy he is and how he would like to further their relationship, he gave Chloe a promise ring.

"I promise to propose when we are both ready... and after i talk to your dad" (yes, he said that)

October 8th 2023, our yearly trip the haunt comes around, this year we go with a group of friends, Shelby and Leah are there, Elijah and Chloe are happy. Leah was running late, and she was Chloe's plus one to the park, so Chloe waited outside the park to let Leah in.

Elijah made his way into the park with Shelby and the rest of the group. As soon as Chloe walked away Elijah handed Shelby the ring to keep in her bag until the right time.

Elijah had talked about how he would propose and originally planned for the top of the Eiffel tower, but when they got into the park, it was closed.

Elijah didnt know what to do, so Shelby said "Bro just do it on the Ferris wheel"

Later that night, Shelby wanted to get a snack and Elijah went to meet up with her when she was half way back to the group waiting at the Farris wheel. This is when he got the ring back.

Once they were up on the wheel, Elijah asked if Chloe remembered the first year they came to haunt, and on the wheel, "When we made Shelby cry?" Chloe asked.

"Well, I was hoping that we could change that," as he said that he lifted his hand to show Chloe that he had a ring in his hand. Once Chloe realized what was happening, she started to cry (happy tears of course)

And then he said those words "Will you marry me?"

And of course she said yes.

On the same day Elijah gave Chloe her promise ring, her sister got proposed to (in practically the same way) and got married a little over a month later.

A few months later, her brother proposed to his girlfriend, and got married that August.

June rolls around, and her sister also gets proposed to.

Once the holidays comes, Elijah starts to look for other jobs, and get approached by a Marine recruiter. Elijah and Chloe sit down and talk about what this would mean for both of them, they agreed that this would be good for them.

December 21st comes and they sit down with the Sargent's involved with Elijah signing his papers and moving forward with the process of him joining.

Months go by and paperwork goes back and forth, only frustrating both of them with how long the process took.

Friday May 17th, Elijah gets a call, saying all his paperwork and MEPS visits went through, and he was told he could swear in on the next Monday, the 20th.

A week later Chloe is watching Elijah get on a bus to Pairs Island to start his three month boot camp.
