Our Wedding

It&nbsp;all&nbsp;began&nbsp;in&nbsp;2018&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;courage&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;lot&nbsp;of&nbsp;curiosity.&nbsp;I&nbsp;came&nbsp;across&nbsp;Elijah&nbsp;on&nbsp;Twitter&nbsp;and&nbsp;instantly&nbsp;thought,&nbsp;“Yep,&nbsp;that’s&nbsp;him.”&nbsp;So&nbsp;I&nbsp;trusted&nbsp;my&nbsp;gut,&nbsp;added&nbsp;him&nbsp;on&nbsp;Snapchat,&nbsp;and&nbsp;took&nbsp;a&nbsp;chance.&nbsp;Thankfully,&nbsp;he&nbsp;added&nbsp;me&nbsp;back...&nbsp;and&nbsp;that&nbsp;simple&nbsp;moment&nbsp;turned&nbsp;out&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;the&nbsp;start&nbsp;of&nbsp;something&nbsp;incredible. From&nbsp;the&nbsp;very&nbsp;beginning,&nbsp;I&nbsp;just&nbsp;knew&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;one.&nbsp;There&nbsp;was&nbsp;something&nbsp;about&nbsp;him&nbsp;that&nbsp;felt&nbsp;like&nbsp;home,&nbsp;even&nbsp;before&nbsp;we&nbsp;met&nbsp;in&nbsp;person.&nbsp;Elijah&nbsp;realized&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;it&nbsp;for&nbsp;him&nbsp;the&nbsp;morning&nbsp;he&nbsp;woke&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;homemade&nbsp;egg&nbsp;sandwich.&nbsp;It&nbsp;wasn’t&nbsp;just&nbsp;the&nbsp;food—it&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;feeling&nbsp;of&nbsp;being&nbsp;cared&nbsp;for,&nbsp;seen,&nbsp;and&nbsp;loved.&nbsp;That&nbsp;moment&nbsp;sealed&nbsp;it&nbsp;for&nbsp;him. One&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;memories&nbsp;together&nbsp;is&nbsp;from&nbsp;a&nbsp;road&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;Glennallen.&nbsp;We&nbsp;were&nbsp;exploring&nbsp;the&nbsp;area&nbsp;when&nbsp;Elijah&nbsp;found&nbsp;this&nbsp;massive&nbsp;fossil.&nbsp;We&nbsp;were&nbsp;both&nbsp;buzzing&nbsp;with&nbsp;excitement&nbsp;as&nbsp;he&nbsp;cracked&nbsp;it&nbsp;open—and&nbsp;seeing&nbsp;what&nbsp;was&nbsp;inside &nbsp;felt&nbsp;like&nbsp;discovering&nbsp;a&nbsp;secret&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;Earth&nbsp;itself.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;those&nbsp;little&nbsp;moments&nbsp;that&nbsp;somehow&nbsp;felt&nbsp;big.&nbsp;Just&nbsp;us,&nbsp;the&nbsp;open&nbsp;road,&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;shared&nbsp;sense&nbsp;of&nbsp;wonder. What&nbsp;I&nbsp;love&nbsp;most&nbsp;about&nbsp;Elijah&nbsp;is&nbsp;how&nbsp;safe&nbsp;and&nbsp;unconditionally&nbsp;loved&nbsp;he&nbsp;makes&nbsp;me&nbsp;feel.&nbsp;He’s&nbsp;my&nbsp;home.&nbsp;And&nbsp;he&nbsp;says&nbsp;he&nbsp;loves&nbsp;how&nbsp;sweet&nbsp;and&nbsp;dependable&nbsp;I&nbsp;am—how&nbsp;he&nbsp;can&nbsp;always&nbsp;count&nbsp;on&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;show&nbsp;up&nbsp;with&nbsp;love&nbsp;(and,&nbsp;let’s&nbsp;be&nbsp;real,&nbsp;food). The&nbsp;proposal&nbsp;was&nbsp;pure&nbsp;magic.&nbsp;We&nbsp;were&nbsp;in&nbsp;Seward,&nbsp;Alaska,&nbsp;camping&nbsp;by&nbsp;a&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;lake&nbsp;with&nbsp;eagles&nbsp;soaring&nbsp;overhead.&nbsp;The&nbsp;next&nbsp;morning,&nbsp;we&nbsp;took&nbsp;a&nbsp;water&nbsp;taxi&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;remote&nbsp;beach&nbsp;and&nbsp;hiked&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;Fort&nbsp;McGilvary,&nbsp;passing&nbsp;old&nbsp;military&nbsp;bunkers&nbsp;along&nbsp;the&nbsp;way.&nbsp;At&nbsp;the&nbsp;top,&nbsp;surrounded&nbsp;by&nbsp;nature&nbsp;and&nbsp;history,&nbsp;he&nbsp;got&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee—and&nbsp;I&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes&nbsp;to&nbsp;forever. By&nbsp;the&nbsp;time&nbsp;we&nbsp;get&nbsp;married&nbsp;on&nbsp;June&nbsp;20,&nbsp;2026,&nbsp;we’ll&nbsp;be&nbsp;celebrating&nbsp;eight&nbsp;incredible&nbsp;years&nbsp;together.&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;ridiculously&nbsp;excited&nbsp;about&nbsp;the&nbsp;taco&nbsp;bar&nbsp;at&nbsp;our&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;(priorities),&nbsp;but&nbsp;more&nbsp;than&nbsp;anything,&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;excited&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;lifetime&nbsp;of&nbsp;adventures,&nbsp;happy&nbsp;moments,&nbsp;and&nbsp;new&nbsp;memories&nbsp;with&nbsp;my&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;person.&nbsp;Elijah&nbsp;is&nbsp;most&nbsp;looking&nbsp;forward&nbsp;to&nbsp;sharing&nbsp;a&nbsp;piece&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;story&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;people&nbsp;we&nbsp;care&nbsp;about—and&nbsp;embracing&nbsp;whatever&nbsp;the&nbsp;future&nbsp;holds,&nbsp;hand&nbsp;in&nbsp;hand. This&nbsp;is&nbsp;just&nbsp;the&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;story—and&nbsp;we&nbsp;can’t&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;it&nbsp;with&nbsp;you.

Engagement Photos

Raelynn is the daughter of Seth and Brittany, and my soon-to-be little niece. She’s a free-spirited firecracker with a heart full of kindness and energy. One of the many things I love about her is how she’ll just start cleaning up after everyone without being asked—picking up trash and making sure things are in order like the tiny boss she is! When we started planning the wedding, we knew we needed a flower girl, and there was no question—Raelynn was perfect for the role. Just like all the amazing women standing beside me, I’m so excited to watch her grow and see the beautiful person she’s becoming.

Jessalyn is my soon-to-be sister-in-law, but she’s felt like family from the start. She has the kindest heart and the goofiest sense of humor—I can always count on her to bring laughter and light wherever she goes. I’m so proud of how much she’s grown over the years. I first met her when she was just a little 12-year-old in middle school, and now she’s a confident, beautiful young woman with a place of her own. Watching her grow into who she is today has been such a joy, and I’m incredibly honored to have her stand beside me as my maid of honor as I marry her brother and officially become part of the family.

Jessalyn Christensen

Millie is my best friend and one of the sweetest souls I know. We met through Elijah when she was dating one of his friends, and we instantly clicked. I love how she always has a smile on her face and brings warmth and kindness wherever she goes. Some of my favorite memories are our wine and paint nights—she’d come over almost every day, and we’d laugh, create, and just enjoy each other's company. Millie is not only one of my bridesmaids but is also crafting my bridal bouquet, which means so much to me. I’m so proud of everything she’s accomplished since we first met, and I’m beyond excited to see how our friendship continues to grow.

Brittany is my soon-to-be sister-in-law, and I’m so happy she’s a part of our ever-growing family. She is one incredible woman—caring, capable, and one badass mama. I truly admire the way she balances everything with grace and strength, especially when it comes to being such a devoted and loving mom. I’m so glad that she and Seth found each other, and I feel lucky to be gaining her as family. I’m honored to have her as one of my bridesmaids as we celebrate the beginning of this next chapter together.

Julia is my soon-to-be sister-in-law, and I’m so lucky to have her as part of my bridal party. She has such a kind heart and a gentle, polite spirit that makes everyone around her feel at ease. I’ve loved watching her grow over the years—from a quiet, shy little girl into the strong, thoughtful young woman she is today. It’s been such a beautiful transformation to witness, and I’m so honored to have her by my side as a bridesmaid while I marry into the family we now share.

Julia Rowley

Jet and I go way back—we’ve known each other since we were kids and went to school together. He’s one of those friends who’s always been solid from the start. What I respect most about him is that he’s dependable, down for anything, and just an all-around good dude to have in your corner. We’ve made a lot of great memories, especially hitting concerts over the years. One of the funniest was when we were out duck hunting, a shot rang out, and a second later I was getting rained on by pellets from the sky—classic, never a dull moment. There’s no one else I’d rather have as my best man.

Andrew Jet George

I’ve probably known Kurt longer than any of my other friends, and he’s been a constant presence in my life ever since. He’s hands-down one of the funniest dudes I know—never takes things too seriously, never gets offended, and always knows how to roll with a bit. He’s got good taste and solid opinions, and I respect that he always gives it to me straight—I like knowing where he stands. Kurt’s also usually the first one to show up to any party, and I really appreciate that. I’m glad to have him as one of my groomsmen and part of this day.

Kurt Buness

Seth is my brother—same mom, same chaos. He’s always had a strong sense of justice and looks out for the little guy, which is something I’ve always respected about him. No matter what we’re doing, it usually ends with us beating each other up or getting hurt—sometimes by accident, sometimes very much on purpose—but it’s always a good time. Having him as one of my groomsmen means a lot, and I wouldn’t want to walk into this next chapter without him in my corner… probably throwing an elbow for old time’s sake.

Seth Row

Chayce is my brother and very much part of the family chaos—it wouldn’t be complete without him. He’s always good to be around, and we never run out of things to talk about. He’s also a seriously talented musician, and it’s been awesome watching him grow in his craft over the years. He’s a true ride-or-die, always showing up when it counts. I’m stoked to have him as one of my groomsmen—and even more excited that he’ll be performing a song at the reception.

Chayce Christensen

Jaxon is the son of Seth and my soon-to-be nephew, and we’re so excited to have him as one of our two brother ring bearers. He’s a fun, goofy kid with a big personality and surprisingly solid taste in music. I still laugh thinking about the time I played him a Kendrick Lamar song and he said, “This song sucks”—only to turn around a few months later and start requesting Kendrick like a true fan. He brings a ton of energy and laughs wherever he goes, and we’re lucky to have him be a part of this day.

Jayce is the son of Seth and my soon-to-be nephew, and he’ll be joining his brother as the second half of our ring bearer duo. I’ve watched him grow from the quietest, shy little kid into someone bursting with personality. These days, he’s got this nonchalant, laid-back attitude that makes him the most chill kid around—and honestly, it’s pretty awesome to see. We’re really excited to have him be part of the day and can’t wait to see him do his thing down the aisle.
