One day in July a boy walked down the stairs and fell in love with a girl playing pool. She skeptically took her time in friendship, and when he asked her out she told him she just wanted to be friends. Later agreeing to meet and talk everything through, she saw a new side of him. Slowly his character was revealed: he was kind hearted, slow to anger, a leader, teachable and playful. Many prayers and conversations later led to this marriage we are now celebrating. But thats not the end of this story.
In March of 2023 Elijah told Leiah that he was feeling led to join the military and by that following July he had signed on to the AirForce. This marked a change neither of them could take back. The question arose, leave and live separate lives or brave the hard times and commit to each other? It has never been easy but God does not promise a life free of trials.
As we look back on what the Lord has brought us through and look forward to this adventure of a future we will step into we are filled with gratitude. God has changed and shaped us into ways we never expected, ways that would not have happened without this change and commitment. Early into dating we could barely go a week apart and would grimace at the idea of long distance, by the time we get married it will be over a year of distance. Gods grace is sufficient and we have lived in His goodness and faithfulness more than ever before.

Immediately following the wedding on October 5th the newly wed Stollers will be heading straight to Spokane, Washington to start their married life!
