When Eli and Elisa went to nursing school they had a clinical class together. Cat, their mutual friend and matchmaker, asked Eli if he could carpool her and Elisa to the hospital where their clinical was located, since he worked there and didn’t have to pay for parking. Eli agreed and spent a couple weeks listening to Cat and Elisa talk his ear off each week to and from the hospital.

One weekend, Elisa’s air conditioning was malfunctioning and she went to stay with her friend Lexi. When she arrived, Elisa immediately confided in Lexi and told her about this cute guy named Eli in her clinical group. That same night, Lexi had a birthday party she was going to, but Elisa decided to stay at home and catch up on homework, until she received a text that would change her life.

“OMG GUESS WHO”S HERE.” Elisa raided Lexi’s closet for a cute outfit (because she only brought sweatpants and t-shirts) rushing to meet Lexi and hopefully run into Eli at the party. Elisa eventually mustered up the confidence to talk to Eli. They broke the ice by spinning the wheel at Wonder Bar. Elisa won a rubber duck, and Eli won a “warm gin shot.” Later that night, Eli asked Elisa on a date to the Museum of Illusion and Mesero for dinner. The rest is history.
