Where to Stay

All of these hotels listed are within walking distance to our venue, Hamilton Hall as well as all wedding weekend events. Therefore if staying for a long weekend, you will not need a car. Salem is extremely walkable. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, museums, and things to do to fill several days just within Salem. But, if you are looking to spend a few extra days and explore the area, there is a train station right within downtown Salem that leads to Boston, Beverly, Gloucester, Rockport, & Newburyport.

Salem is a tourist destination in the Fall because of the fall foliage and is dubbed the Halloween town in the US. For this reason, we recommend booking a room as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we could not get a block because of the popularity of the Fall season although by mid-November there is a slow down of tourists!
