🥻 INDIAN CLOTHES?

As the majority of our guests are not Indian/do not have Indian clothes on hand, this is the first tip for you.

Indian wear is optional, not mandatory. The two occasions where Indian outfits could make sense: The Wedding Ceremony (Saturday evening) and the Sangeet (Saturday evening). No need to change.

Goa is not the best place to buy Indian wear (majority Christian state). Turns out, neither is Belgium.

So, in terms of purchasing your outfits, you should either do that somewhere else (if you are traveling in India before the wedding - Delhi and Mumbai are good options) or order online.

In this case, it would make sense for guests coming from Belgium to India to plan their itinerary based on their desired tourist activities eg. BRU-Delhi return; internal Delhi-Goa return; sightseeing in Delhi before OR after wedding in Goa.

🛂 VISAS TO VISIT INDIA?

EU/UK/US Guests:

For the majority of our foreign guests, the visa process is simple and you will only need an e-visa: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html

For most of you an e-Tourist visa should suffice. You can received your visa not more than 3 weeks prior to departure.

Other Guests:

If you do not have an EU/UK/US passport, make sure to check your visa requirements well ahead of time as these might be different.

We are both quite well-versed with visas, so reach out if you have any questions.
